This guide will instruct you on how to change the ever-so-annoying menu background music on your Counter-Strike game.
You can only do this if your xbox is modded and has Counter-Strike saved on it's hard-drive OR if you are burning the
game onto a cd-r/dvd-r (which would require you to have saved it onto your HD to transfer the files to be burned onto
a disc anyways).

I am NOT responsible if you screw up your game by deleting everything in it or blowing it up or something. This tutorial
was written by Blink182house (blink182houseprv@yahoo.com) for ratemyxbox.com If you are using this tutorial for any
other website, please be kind and give full credit to it's rightful creators.
I also suggest that INCASE you do screw up, you save the game onto your PC into a different folder than you will be working
in... just as a back up.

You will need :
-Xbox w/ Counter-Strike saved on the HD
-FlashFXP or another type of FTP prog. on your PC
-Connection between your PC and xbox (crossover, or patch cables with a router)
-2 Audio files in which you would like to have as your background audio on the C-S menus (on your PC in .wma format)

Step 1)
Open your FTP program (FlashFXP is what I use) and connect to your xbox.

Step 2)
Find you Counter-Strike game saved onto your xbox's HD (probably in either e:\games\counter-strike OR
f:\games\counter-strike)

Step 3)
Open the Counter-Strike folder and go to "Counter-Stike\Media\sound\soundtrack\" and you should see 2 .wma files
there (titled : downedintro.wma and launcherloop.wma)

Step 4)
Copy the original .wma files (launcherloop.wma and downedintro.wma) FROM your xbox TO your PC (for back-up incase you need
to restore it to default)
Step 5)
Send the 2 NEW .wma files (in my case, the 2 Thrice songs) FROM your PC TO your xbox.
Step 6)
Rename the new .wma files (my Thrice songs) to "launcherloop.wma" and "downedintro.wma"

Now, when you start up your xbox and go to Counter-Strike, after the intro movies... press start and you'll have some
kicking tunes when you're at the main menu.
