1. Go to Radioshack and buy a RF wireless on/off power module with remote.

2. Plug the XBOX power cord to the base power module.

3. Use a toothpick or metal wrapper to jam the XBOX on/off button to pushed in position. Don’t worry, this won’t hurt your precious BOX. You can always unplug the toothpick or metal wrapper later on. (See pic below, XBOX with metal wrapper to jam in the on/off switch)

4. Push on/off on the power module remote to turn the XBOX on or off.

5. The XBOX should work exactly as before even with its’ on/off button jammed in permanently.

RESULTS:
I tested this out and it’s works flawlessly! I can even turn the XBOX on/off from outside the house. This is all done without opening the XBOX, so you non-moders can still have your warranty.
