How to install more then 1 game on 1 disc using MenuX (v0.4)

Tutorial written by : [I]ce[x]

MenuX - Complex Walkthrough FINAL!:
2 - 11 Games ISOS on 1 DVD-R\RW

01. Unrar the ISOs of the games to include on the compilation.

02. Open xISO Maker V0.7.1\2 L and click the 'Read XISO' button (the yellow folder next to your CD/DVDROM device). Locate an *.ISO you unrarred in step 01 and click "Open". Click the 'Extract All' button (CD with the red arrow pointing diagonally up) and locate a place to extract the ISO to.

03. Download Microsoft.Hacked.MenuX.XBOX-COMPLEX (If you have MenuX_Prepared-[I]ce[x].rar you can skip steps 02 - 14).

04. Make a folder on your Desktop and call it anything you like.

05. Extract cpxmenux.rar to the folder you created on your Desktop.

06. Go into that folder and open "config.txt"...
It reads:
TITLE=Xbox Media Player
INFO=divx/vcd/network
GFX=media.png
DIR=xbmedia

Make it look like this:
TITLE=
INFO=
GFX=
DIR=

...say you have 3 games, you would do this 3 times like this:
TITLE=
INFO=
GFX=
DIR=

TITLE=
INFO=
GFX=
DIR=

TITLE=
INFO=
GFX=
DIR=

07. Save "config.txt".

08. Delete the following files:
- "xbmedia" dir and "backdir.xbe" in the "ISO" dir
- "menu.xdi" in the "MenuX" dir
- "media.png" in the "sshot" dir
OPTIONAL (because they're ugly):
- "screen.png" and "wait.png" in the "media" dir. Don't delete unless you have replacements (included in my MenuX_Prepared-[I]ce[x].rar).

09. If desired, you can change the ambient music that plays at the game selection screen. In iso\MenuX\media is an ambient.wma..... you can delete that and put any song you like in there make sure you convert it properly to ambient.WMA using All To WMA Converter, Advanced WMA Workshop...go to www.litexmedia.com to download a converter. Make sure you rename the song you are using to ambient.wma.
NOTE: if you have MenuX_Prepared-[I]ce[x].rar you won't have to delete ambient.wma, already deleted for ya.

10. Get small *.JPGs of the games you are burning (Gifs DONT WORK! ONLY JPGs!).
www.ign.com\www.xbox.com has lots of images for your pleasure.

11. Save them to your hard drive, only 1 picture for each game.

12. Open Adobe Photoshop 6\7 and open the *.JPGs.

13. Save them as *.PNG.

14. Now copy all of the extracted ISOs of your games to "ISO" dir. Each ISO must be in its own seperate directory in the ISO folder.

15. Rename the game directories (folders with contents of game files) to something simple. i.e., Instead of "NCAA Football 2003", rename it to "ncaa03".

16. Rename the .PNGs files you made to the same name as the game dirs. i.e., if your game dir is named "oddworld", name the .png for that game "oddworld.png"

17. Now open "config.txt".

18. Fill in the enrty information for your games:
TITLE=Arctic Thunder <-- This is what is shown on the game selection screen.
INFO=Midway <----- COMPANY
GFX=at.png <----- Pictures you saved from net changed to *.PNG in Adobe Photoshop 6\7.
DIR=arctic <----- THE NAME OF DIR WHERE THE GAME FILES ARE LOCATED.

TITLE=
INFO=
GFX=
DIR=

TITLE=
INFO=
GFX=
DIR=

DO THE SAME THING FOR THE OTHER 2. I stuffed 11 Games on 1 DVD-R and all work 100%. So don't be scared to put only a few games on, fill up the whole disk!
Your final folder should look like this:
---->(In ISO DIR)---->arctic(Dir)
eg.-->MenuX (Dir)
eg.-->mx2002(Dir)
eg.-->ncaa03(Dir)
default.xbe(File)
ReDir.xbe(File)
---->(In MenuX DIR)-->media(Dir)
-->sshot(Dir)
In sshot dir should be your *.PNG Files.
In media dir should be ambient.wma, and of course the other stuff..don't worry it's all there =)

19. Open "MenuX-xdi.bat" (In Main Dir). Press any key to continue. Go to iso\MenuX.
It should have made a "menu.xdi".

20. You are now ready to burn.
For RecordNowMax:
Put a Blank DVD-R\RW in DVD-RW Burner Drive.
Open RecordNowMax
Select "DATA".
For "Volume Label" put whatever you like.
Click "Add Files And Folders".
Locate "ISO" dir.
Open ISO Dir.
Add Everything that is in the "ISO" dir.
Click "Options".
For File System Type, choose "UDF - Up to 128 in filename length, any char., plus 8+3 tree (Bridge)".
Click "OK".
Burn on 1X.
Choose you DVD-RW Burner Drive.
Click Red Circled Button.
DONE!

For PrimoDVD 2.0:
Put a Blank DVD-R\RW in DVD-RW Burner Drive.
Open PrimoDVD 2.0.
Click "Go To Full Application".
Go to File-->New Job-->Data Disk.
For Volume Label put whatever you like.
Click the Yellow Folder to Add Folders.
Add MenuX (Dir) and your game dirs. Select all at once.
Click the White paper to add files. Add "default.xbe","ReDir.xbe" and "menu.xdi".
Burn on 1X.
Select your DVD-RW Burner Drive.
Click Red Circled Button.
DONE!

Note---> I prefer RecordNowMax for burning this. I recommend this for all XBOX stuff burnt. Easier to use then PrimoDVD 2.0, and RecordNowMax is newer better technology.
