Use Custom Music in WWF Raw (v0.1)

To use custom music for WWF Raw for Xbox, you need to have access for the directories and files of WWF Raw. Normally, you can either use xISO to extract these files from a WWF Raw DVD or FTP the contents of the WWF RAW DVD over using EvolutionX.

So, now you have access to the game files. In the main root, there is a directory called ADX. That is where all the sound files are. Inside this directory, there is a subdirectory called BGM. In BGM, that is where all the entrance music is. By looking at the file names, you can tell which music goes to which person.

Ok, so now you want to play Rob Van Dam’s music for your created player, or whatever else you have in mind. All the files there are in ADX music format. On your computer, you will have a WAV or a MP3 of Rob Van Dam’s music. You must first convert the MP3 to a WAV, if the file is a MP3.

To get a MP3 to WAV decoder (they are many shareware versions out), go to http://download.com.com

Run the program you downloaded and convert the MP3 to a WAV. Ok, now the file is in WAV format. But, now you must convert this new WAV file to the ADX format of WWF Raw’s wanted format.

To get a WAV to ADX decoder, go to http://www.megagames.com
It is best to move the WAV you want to convert to the folder of this unzipped download. Go into DOS and located the folder where you unzipped the download. It is a command prompt program. Type: wav2adx fileyouwanttoconvert.wav

After the conversion is done, the ADX file will be located in the same folder as the program. Do not use the GUI version of this program. It doesn't always work.

Ok, so now you an ADX format of Rob Van Dam’s music. Remember that directory in WWF Raw? Again, it was ADXBGM. You will see 6 files with the word “edit” in them. Those are the custom music for a CAW. You can either copy your Rob Van Dam music into that folder and rename it to MATCH one of those edit files or if you want to change Kurt Angle’s music, just rename the file you created to MATCH Angle’s file.

Bottom line is that the file you created and want to use, HAS to match a file in that folder.

Run the game, and choose your wrestler, and be amazed!
