BUY THESE

275-663 Mini Toggle Switch DPDT
271-1312 150 Ohm resistors
276-304 Green LED 2.1 v
276-079 Snap in LED Holders (optional)

On the toggle switch there will be 6 tabs

5 6 ------------unused

connect tab 2 to the LED
connect LED to a 150 ohm resistor
connect the Resistor to the yellow hard drive wire
EXAMPLE:
switch pin 2-------------LED------RESISTOR-------+5 Hard drive wire

now connect 4 directly to the Black hard drive wire
EXAMPLE:
SWITCH PIN 4---------------------- GROUND HARD DRIVE WIRE

Now to wire up the X2 LITE
Connect pin 1 to either of the on/off pins in the middle of the chip
EXAMPLE
SWITCH PIN 1--------------------------- ON/OFF X2 jumper pin

Connect pin 1 to either of the on/off pins in the middle of the chip
EXAMPLE
SWITCH PIN 3--------------------------- ON/OFF X2 jumper pin

As you can see 5 and 6 are unused......

NOW IT IS UP TO YOU TO DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT TO MOUNT THESE.................

that is IT plug in and play away........ The light will be on when the chip is on and off when the chip is off............

Now you really have an X2 LIGHT
