How USED Game 'Trade-In' works on XBOX ONE
>> We all now know Microsoft is blocking Used Games, but they claim 'Trade-In' will still work!

So more information has appeared in the war against USED GAMES and how Microsoft plans to please everyone with their XBOX ONE scheme of DRM control over your 'game disc'

Xbox-Scene

Ever since it was reveal that XBOX ONE blocks the usage of your game disc on another system after its tied to your Live account and registered into the CLOUD using a one-time code, people have been asking well how does this work, what if I want to sell the disc!

Well it seems Microsoft grand big brother scheme of a plan, is to have its cake and take a piece of it also, so in the future you will need to visit an OFFICIAL store that has agreed to Microsoft's ToS for 'Trade-In' and as such they will de-list your disc, give you what they want, cash or in-store credit, wipe the info from the CLOUD and put it on the shelf as an USED GAME, and in exchange for all this work, when the game is re-sold, a piece of cake will go to Microsoft, another piece to the original publisher, and store can keep whats left over.
You, the shopper, won't have to pay the activation fee for a used Xbox One game - the shop will. Therefore, the price you see on a second-hand Xbox One game in a shop is the price you'll pay to be able to play it.

That's what a high-ranking UK industry source explained to me this afternoon.

The reason there's all this confusion is because Microsoft hasn't decided what the activation fee will be yet. The Ł35 figure reported in the story below sounds too high - perhaps it includes the shop's sale price as well.

My source confirmed that part of that activation fee will go to a publisher and part to Microsoft.

What this means for second-hand games is that Microsoft effectively controls how much they cost, because it controls the activation fee. Whether that fee will move up or down or diminish over time isn't clear. But it does mean second-hand games will probably be more expensive than they are now.

My source didn't know what Sony was up to but doubts the PlayStation maker will do the same thing, not because it's angelic but because it lacks the kind of pricey infrastructure something like this requires.

Original story: If you want to trade in an Xbox One game you will need to find a shop that has agreed to Microsoft's terms and is therefore connected to the Xbox One cloud.

The game will be registered as traded in and will be wiped from your Xbox Live account. The shop can resell it for whatever price it likes but the game's publisher now takes a cut and so does Microsoft, a source-based MCV report revealed.

When and How Xbox Live was hacked!
>> Yesterday news broke that Xbox Live was hacked, but the 'pastebin' was fishy no solid proof!

But today, exclusive proof was given to Maxconsole that the 'hackers' had access to Xbox Live Source Code over 6 to 7 months ago, even tho Microsoft claims everything is OK and SAFE, is it really?

Xbox-Scene

Yesterday, a tweet by 'Reckz0r' pointed everyone to a 'pastebin' where he claimed he dumped all 48 million Xbox Live users and offered up a 6gb file as proof, but it was soon figured out the 'file link' was just an hoax and the actual story smelled very fishy at best, and Microsoft soon confirmed to 'GameSpot' that Xbox Live was NOT hacked, and everything is secure.

Now this is not the first time a story broke with Xbox Live claiming to be 'hacked' and then later Microsoft claims it is all A-OK and keep gaming along, back in 2011 the newspaper SUN claimed there was a huge 'Xbox Cyber Fraud' and Microsoft was even doing an cover-up on it, later on Microsoft backtracked and said it was just all 'social engineering' and 'kiddies' were giving out their own personal info that was why they were getting 'hacked', and security is secure on Xbox Live, but just to make sure they added more protocols to made it harder to change your info, if you had been duped into giving out info to these so-called 'phishing' attempts.

But today MaxConsole was contacted by an professional security auditor that of course wishs to remain anonymous and has offered up to us exclusive proof as 'screenshots' taken via 'TeamViewer' of an actual 'hacker' (which is rumored to be ex-employee) getting into the Xbox Live system via its 'Source Code', which using an actual Microsoft VPN connection, and this they were told all took place about 6 to 7 months ago, during an operation to 'steal money' from various companies, and since then all those involved have been raided by the FBI and Secret Service.

So does this mean Xbox Live is really safe and secure? -- You decide yourself after looking at the 'pictures'!

Xbox Live is Hacked
>> 48 Million Users Leaked

Some key people were not 'happy' about Xbox ONE, so they decided to show Mr. Microsoft, whom is really the boss of the 'net, not the 'must connect once a day box', but the 'hackers' of the world unite

Xbox-Scene

World famous hacker 'Reckz0r' that cracked into CNN websites and data stream, claims via a 'pastebin' today, and other tweets that Xbox Live has been 'PWNED!' all 48 Million Users Exposed, and offer up a 6gb file with all the details of his trip into Microsoft servers!

Good morning, faggots

Today is a pretty fine fucking day, and a good day for the underground too, as I believe everything happens for a small tiny reason. Today, one of the biggest IT-companies known as Fagsoft, oh sorry, autocorrect-problems, I meant, Microsoft. They are often known as the biggest cocksuckers that history has ever witnessed. They released a faggotry-infested 1960's-machines inspired Xbox One! They said that they have created 30,000 servers just for this lovely moment. I believe, you better shut the fuck up before you get smacked the fuck up, billy.

Today, Xbox Live has been brutally owned, in true-fashion. I shall not expose the vulnerability this time, as I do not want Benjamin Kuns Mejri masturbating all over my releases, oh and, Vuln-Labs, your advisories fucking suck.

On the second hand, after the downfall of our well-known friends, Lulssec. sony was truly happy, sitting behind their chairs and ejaculating over pictures of Katy Perry. But I believe, that Microsoft should get a taste of some pure ownage too.

I brutally owned Xbox Live a few days ago, but I decided to dump all the super-dooper precious data now.

Oh and, If I get another stupid BBC-journalist talking crap on this lovely work-of-hand, thou shall be cursed.

And most importanly; Microsoft, this is not a dick-sucking contest. You gotta stand the fuck up infront of cyberhackers. You seek help and therefore; You'll get owned.

Lastly, Microsoft is a pest to humanity.

Enjoy this lovely ownage for now.

I have uploaded the entire credentials of every Xbox Live user in an nickname;email;password;joindate format, It contains nearly confidental-info on around 47 million users.
UPDATE: As the news spreads about this 'hack', most experts in the 'hacker world' are saying its a good 'hoax' might be fact.

We will know, and waiting to see what Microsoft saids about it, it all could be hype based on the fact XBOX ONE is in the news!

In the meantime, Cyberwars has dug into the 'hacking' story some more and has this to say, BASICALLY IT IS ALL FAKE!
OK so since posting this i have been tipped off to some interesting points by some people who wish to remain anonymous which lead me to actually dig deeper into this leak.

1st of all as stated above it appears the bayfiles.com site has not been active for some time with no caches or recent DNS information to be found and is not even owned by the same people who own the official bayfiles website which is apart of the piratebay.

2nd when you play with google dorks you find all sorts of things and a interested follower has found that the above bayfiles link is related to a leak from Anonymous back in 2012 which was said to be apart of the OpIsrael hacks and leaks, but sadly this was also fake and was linked back to earlier 2012, possibly even before then but i do not have the time to waste searching over and over/

3rd when i checked this information about the opisrael leak out i have found a few duplicate information from it leading me to believe that @reckz0r has either obtained the original leak file which was named EuroDB.txt and totalled 142MB in its raw text format or was the false claimed opisrael leak which was named Punisment_Hannibal.rar and contained pretty much the exact data from the EruoDB.txt.

4th For some time now many have known that reckz0r has played with false data before, which false data? that i can prove but for now i must not publish anything as my sources would like to remain anonymous but i can say its some one that reckz0r has been in contact with and attempted to or has worked with in the passed who is very credible with information.

5th When i did question reckz0r about this leak, about the bayfiles domain and suspicion of the duplication's and false data i was told "You ask too many questions my friends, are you having those lovely doubts again? and I'll talk to you in a while." (see below)

So yea for now, i advise all other media not to follow this "big leak" and to take it another way, as a false, fake and repeated fake leak from another fake leak which just makes me laugh big time.

Enjoy.

XBOX ONE is unleashed into the world by Microsoft
>> The ALL-IN-ONE system for controlling and watching everything

Not just your average 'gaming console', this is not Xbox 720, it is the all new XBOX ONE, the one and only system you will ever need, from gaming to watching movies, to even making phone calls!

Xbox-Scene

Well the day is finally here, Microsoft has spilled the beans on the juicy stuff on their new XBOX, and its not 720, not Loop, not Now, not Fusion, it is ONE that is right they are counting down, because this is your ALL-IN-ONE baby, the only 'box' you will need connected to your TV ever, throw out all those other devices, buy, own, control, watch, game everything with XBOX ONE.

So far the specs are:

* 8GB of RAM
* 8-core CPU
* 500GB HDD
* Blu-ray drive
* USB 3.0
* Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi

And the new Kinect which is always-needed as you control this all-in-one box with your VOICE, like XBOX ON will power on the system, includes a 1080p camera that is so good it can record your 'heartbeat'??

And the OS is combo of 3 things M$ is great at, the Xbox 360 (gaming), Windows 8 (apps/simple), Kinect (voice/control), and finally the XBOX ONE even tho it looks almost the same, they claim it has over 40 different changes, one of them being games can control the triggers, you will feel it more, it might take more strength to push them depending on the game.

Of course EA is major factor as an PARTNER with M$, with them being first on stage after M$ talked about how it will change your lives in watching tv, movies, and even phone calls with its built-in Skype system, and EA claims they have their own new engine designed just for XBOX ONE, with 4 games coming out within the next 12 months.

Forza Motorsports 5 will be a LAUNCH game, and there is alot of talk about how everything is CLOUD based, from saves, to weather, updates, connection with others, almost sadly like the CLOUD is so much needed, you might not be do anything without it there!

Plus another 15 Exclusive Games from Microsoft themselves, with 8 never before seen, with preview of one called QuantumBreak.

TV TV TV, SOCIAL SOCIAL SOCIAL, with exclusive drama designed only XBOX ONE, including something based on HALO, basically Microsoft claims your XBOX ONE will re-think TV as we know it, with interactive TV, better story-telling, and true live-action drama.

Finally it launches later this YEAR, but no clues on the price, with final word that E3 will have more info, and Call Of Duty is #1...

I am sorry to say, but my personal thoughts on this, is they better have an XBOX EU plan, as after the one hour, it was all way too much focused on USA, if you don't live like an American, you will not be grabbing an ALL-IN-ONE system called XBOX ONE.

We end this write-up summary, with the most important fact regarding 'GAMES' since there was not much about DRM or other rumors:
Microsoft's Xbox One will use Blu-ray discs for games, but you won't be using them as frequently as you might have with your PlayStation 3. In a statement made to Wired, Microsoft said that all games are installed to the Xbox One's hard drive to play; you won't have to insert the disc to run the game after that initial process. The news confirms earlier information seen by The Verge.

Prior to the Xbox One's official unveiling, rumors had flown for months that Microsoft's latest console would contain a mechanism to block used games. While Microsoft has so far stayed quiet on this particular point, the mandatory installation would seem to suggest that it may well be the case - at least to some extent. Microsoft has said that a fee would be charged for any game disc to be tied to a second Xbox Live account following its initial installation.

Rumor: Microsoft killing off Xbox Points
>> ...In favor of 'real' currency/gift cards system.

According to The Verge, Microsoft is doing away with its current Points system to introduce a true currency system very soon. Reveal expected at E3 2013.

Xbox-Scene

According to a report from The Verge, Microsoft is killing off its Points system used primarily for the Xbox, in favor of a true currency and gift cards system.

So, similar to the infrastructure that Apple has in place, users will be able to make purchases with debit/credit cards, or buy gift cards at retail stores. The new system would work across the Windows Store, Windows Phone Store, and the Xbox Live Marketplace.
The new gift cards will be offered in a similar way to Apple's iTunes vouchers, allowing Xbox owners to purchase true currency to be used to download content. We're told that normal cash transactions, using credit and debit cards, will also be supported. Microsoft currently offers gift cards in its retail stores, but these can only be used for purchases in brick and mortar stores. The new system will work across Microsoft's various marketplaces, including the Windows Store, Windows Phone Store, and Xbox.
Apparently, an official announcement is expected at the upcoming E3, with a planned launch later this year, just in time for the next-generation Xbox.

If true, it was about time, don't you think? Stay tuned!

Next Xbox to work offline, according to leaked Microsoft memo
>> 'A number of scenarios expected to work without internet.'

According to an internal Microsoft memo obtained by Ars Technica, the next-gen Xbox won't require an always-on internet connection for many functions, including games...

Xbox-Scene

According to an allegedly leaked internal Microsoft memo emailed to "full-time employees" working on the next-generation Xbox, the upcoming console will NOT require an always-on internet connection for many of its functions, including "single-player gaming", or when "playing a Blu-ray disc"...

The memo, obtained by Ars Technica, says the following:
"Durango [the codename for the next Xbox] is designed to deliver the future of entertainment while engineered to be tolerant of today's Internet."

It continues, "There are a number of scenarios that our users expect to work without an Internet connection, and those should 'just work' regardless of their current connection status. Those include, but are not limited to: playing a Blu-ray disc, watching live TV, and yes playing a single player game."
If true, the memo also backs up the rumour that the new console will be capable of receiving (via a HDMI input) and relaying a TV video feed with its own UI and functionality layered over that of your existing set-top box...

The next-generation XBOX will be revealed at a special event on May 21. Stay tuned!

Virtual JaguarX v0.98
>> Recently, an updated version of Atari Jaguar Emulator has been released for the Original Xbox Console by hcf on our Xbox-Scene forums.
Changes in the emulator core

1) Full-screen playing, even in HD modes: Now you can play at full-screen, both with 480, 720p or 1080i. This has been achieved by replacing all the SDL code related to video, with Xbox native Direct3D code.

2) Noticeable speed improvement: Besides the full-screen support, the native Direct3D code also brang a speed improvement. This makes that some games that were hardly playable in the last version, can be played in this one at good speed (for example Kasumi Ninja or Zool 2). Besides, many games that need overclocked sound/GPU, will have better sound and less graphical glitches now, because the overclocking factor now is much lower.

3) Improved compatibility: There are new playable games that didn't work (or were unplayable) in previous versions, like Soccer Kid, Protector Special Edition, Zero 5, Worms, Evolution - Dino Dudes, Kasumi Ninja...

4) Better savegame management: In the past versions, there was an annoying bug that caused that, if you didn't exit from the game in a proper way (START+BACK) you lost all the saved games related to that rom!! This bug has been fixed with a better savegame management. Now, if you exit bad, you will only loose the current game, but all the previous saved progress will be kept. So, you will never loose your saved games again (time to beat Rayman now?).

Changes in the GUI

1) Now you can have a lot of games in your "roms" folder (the previous version had a bug when you had more than 50-60 roms). And these roms can have moderately long names if you want. Anyways, remember that the files must have a "normal" name if you want that the emulator is able to recommend the best settings for that game. For example, if you have the game Rayman you can name it like "Rayman.zip" or "Rayman (Ubisoft).j64" or whatever you want that begins with "Raym"... but don't rename it like "My favorite game.zip", because the emulator will not know that it is Rayman!

2) Preliminary screenshots support. The emulator search for screenshots with the same name of the rom (but extension "jpg") in the "media/artwork/action" folder (like in the Xtras) and if it exists, it will show it when the game is selected in the menu. This package contains some screenshots of some of the most famous games, but you must rename your roms like them if you want them to work. For example, if the screenshot is "Kasumi Ninja.jpg", rename your rom as "Kasumi Ninja.zip".

3) Background music

4) Better joystick management

Xbox Fusion domains registered at Microsoft
>> żNew Xbox name?

Microsoft has been caught registering the xboxfusion.com domain which may be a hint of the next console's official name

Xbox-Scene

It seems that microsoft has registered (yet again) another domain that suggests a possible name for the next generation console. This time, it is xboxfusion.com that now is part of the already registered buch with xboxgold.com and xboxnext.com.

Fusible explained it better in this extract:
If Microsoft has learned anything from its previous mistakes with launching a product without the matching domains — then it’s quite possible that the company’s next generation console will be called the “Xbox Fusion”.

Microsoft owns the name in a variety of different extensions and it has for years.

Speculation about the name being called “Xbox Fusion” isn’t anything new. But what separates “Xbox Fusion” and only a few other names from the rest of the list, is that not only does Microsoft own the dot-com (WHOIS), it owns a slew of other domains like XboxFusion.info, XboxFusion.biz, XboxFusion.de, XboxFusion.co.uk – the list goes on and on.

Speculation of the next gen console’s name has gone wild, fueled lately by the recent leak on Reddit of what may be the logo.

Names being kicked around include the Xbox 720, Xbox Infinity, Xbox Infinite, Xbox Gold, Xbox 8, Xbox Durango, Xbox Next, and more.
